What Information Does WorldSpeak Collect?
We collect various types of information depending upon how you use our site.
- Name, address, phone number, e-mail address;
- Financial information, such as credit card number with expiration date;
- Employment-related information, such as may be found on resumes, applications, background verification information, or in employment references.
We may also collect and analyze include the IP address used to connect your computer to the Internet; email address; computer and connection information such as browser type and version, operating system, and platform; the connection to, through, and from our Web site, including date and time; cookie number and products you viewed or searched for.
How Does WorldSpeak Use Personal Information?
We may use your information in a number of ways, including the following:
- Process purchases and respond to inquiries;
- To improve website content on our website;
- Marketing and promotional purposes;
- E-mail updates.
Does WorldSpeak Share Personal Information?
WorldSpeak may share the information with third parties, including responsible companies that provide support services to us (such as credit card processors, mailing houses or web hosts), that help us market our products and services (such as email vendors) or our strategic partners. These companies may need information about you in order to perform their functions. Additionally, WorldSpeak may share your information when it is necessary to comply with law or to protect our interests or property. This may include sharing information with other companies, lawyers, credit bureaus, agents or government agencies in connection with issues related to fraud, credit or debt collection, and other types of criminal investigation.

WorldSpeak is committed to doing its best to maintain the security of information collected on our site. To try to prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have implemented appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

Class registration options
In order to confirm registration for a class, students must submit payment first by registering online or via invoice with a credit card.
Students will receive an email acknowledging receipt of their registration request as soon as it is received and processed. If the acknowledgment notification email has not been received in a timely manner, please contact our office to verify receipt of registration.
As soon as registration is received and the class is confirmed, students will receive a confirmation e-mail. The confirmation notification e-mail will include additional information concerning the class date(s), start time(s), location, and any other information related to the class. If course materials or textbooks are not included as part of the tuition for the class, the confirmation notification will provide information concerning any textbooks or course materials you must bring to the class. WorldSpeak will send students an e-mail confirming registration no later than 3 calendar days prior to the class start date.
Private and Online Classes: Only Private and Online Class students have the option to cancel/reschedule classes. Students must cancel by contacting WorldSpeak directly via phone or e-mail at least 24 hours before the class, otherwise the class be forfeited.
Group Classes: Group class packages do not include any make-up sessions. In case students would like to make up a missed class, they have the option to make up the class in a private lesson session for $35/hr. All Group classes are offered with the expectation of a minimum enrollment of 3 people. WorldSpeak reserves the right to cancel classes in case of insufficient enrollment. Students who have registered will receive a full refund or the opportunity to convert their registration to another class. WorldSpeak reserves the right to modify, withdraw or make substitutions for any announced classes and to change instructors.
If a student is unhappy with the class after the first session, WorldSpeak can either provide the student with a new teacher (for Private and Online Classes), if possible, or provide the student with a refund. All requests for refunds must be made to the WorldSpeak office via phone or e-mail. Notice to an instructor does not constitute an official request to withdraw from a class and to receive a refund and therefore will not be processed.
Refunds are granted in the following cases:
- If WorldSpeak cancels a class
- If student sends in request before the class begins
- If student is unhappy with first session and sends in request after the first class but before the second class begins. Refunds will not be possible after the second class session begins.
Credit card transactions will be credited to the original card used. Refund checks will be mailed for cash or check transactions. This process can take up to 3 to 4 weeks.
